The general terms and conditions described below set out the rights and obligations of Papier Machine and its clients in the context of the sale of stationery items. Placing an order with Papier Machine implies the buyer's unconditional acceptance of these terms and conditions.

1. Products

All products printed on deckle-edge paper are handcrafted — each sheet is made by hand and is therefore unique. Slight variations may exist from one product to another. Minor imperfections and irregularities may be present due to the artisan nature of the paper. Product photographs are as accurate as possible; however, colours may vary depending on your screen. Papier Machine cannot guarantee a perfect match between the item ordered and its representation on the website. Products are offered subject to available stock. Should a product become unavailable following an order, Papier Machine will either offer a similar product at the same price, or issue a refund for the item in question.

2. Pricing

Prices are calculated on a bespoke basis and are non-negotiable. Prior to quote approval, and upon request, Papier Machine will endeavour to suggest more affordable alternatives if your initial budget cannot be met. To confirm the quote, a 30% deposit of the total order amount is required, with the remaining balance to be settled before dispatch. All prices stated in the quote are in euros, inclusive of all applicable taxes. Additional shipping fees may apply if an upgraded delivery option is requested. All orders, regardless of origin, are payable in euros.

3. Order Confirmation

An order is confirmed once the deposit has been received. In the event of cancellation prior to printing, the deposit is non-refundable. That said, the quote may be revised before printing begins if quantities have changed — however, any graphic design work already completed cannot be removed from the quote; only unprinted items may be deducted.

4. Payment Methods

Orders can be paid by bank transfer or cheque. PayPal transfers are accepted; however, any associated PayPal fees are the responsibility of the buyer. Orders will only be dispatched once full payment has been received.

5. Delivery

Delivery costs are the responsibility of the buyer. Orders are shipped by default via Colissimo or Chronorelais. The buyer must provide a valid delivery address or collection point. A tracking number will be sent by email. Transit times are provided by the carrier and may vary depending on the destination. Please note that these timescales are beyond our control. Delivery within mainland France typically takes 2 to 3 business days for Colissimo, and approximately 5 days for Chronorelais. If your parcel has not arrived within this timeframe, please check with your local post office or collection point to see whether it is being held. 6. Cancellations & Returns

Personalised products such as invitations, menus, welcome signs, etc. are non-refundable. For non-personalised sample orders, in accordance with applicable law, you have 14 calendar days from the date of receipt to return your products. Returned items must be in their original condition and packaging to be eligible for resale. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer. In the case of non-conforming products, return shipping will be covered by Papier Machine. Refunds for products and return shipping costs will only be processed upon receipt of the returned items and confirmation of non-conformity.

7. Samples

You are welcome to order samples to assess the quality of our products. — Non-personalised sample: available to order from my online shop or directly by email. These are designs from the existing collection with placeholder content, allowing you to assess the paper quality and print finish. — Personalised sample: after your order has been confirmed and the deposit paid, once your invitation design has been approved, you may request a personalised sample or proof, to review all details before settling the balance and proceeding to print. Please note that personalised samples are not available for invitations printed using letterpress or hot foil stamping.

8. Intellectual Property

All elements of the website papier-machine.com are and remain the exclusive intellectual property of Papier Machine. No part of this website, in any form, may be reproduced, used, redistributed or exploited in any way, whether in full or in part, without prior authorisation.
